The ServingSafely programme is an ongoing hygiene and food safety
development and maintenance programme. It can help you to achieve consistently
high standards of food-service safety and quality in your business.
The ServingSafely Programme will contribute to improving customer and
guest confidence as well as helping you to provide the due diligence required
to satisfy enforcement agency audits and inspections, from EHOs and Trading
Standards Officers.
The programme is tailored to suit the needs of your organisation, no matter
how small or large it may be, and is therefore very cost effective, with
payments spread over monthly intervals throughout the annual agreement
period, if required.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SERVINGSAFELY PROGRAMME?
The programme consists of:
- An introductory session with our advisor who will meet you at your
business and set up with you and your management staff the elements of
the ServingSafely Programme.
- A training session with key members of your staff to indicate the principles
of ServingSafely.
- A site review meeting with you after 3 months to check the performance
of the programme.
- Telephone and email support direct with your ServingSafely co-ordinator.
- Emergency advice to deal with customer complaints, food poisoning or
enforcement issues; (call out charges may apply for this service if site
visits are required).
- A ServingSafely Certificate awarded after 6 months to show that you
are complying with the Programme.
- A site meeting at the conclusion of the 12 months programme to monitor
compliance.
HOW MUCH DO I PAY?
The cost of the ServingSafely Programme is based on the size of your
kitchen or restaurant, and prices can start from as little as £20.00 per
month.
