HOW DOES THE PUBCHEK AUDIT WORK?
The PUBCHEK© audit consists of an in-depth inspection of your premises, in which the following areas are examined:

• Food preparation and production areas, to determine compliance with Hygiene, Health and Safety legislation and to identify the potential transmission of food borne infections.
• Inspection of bar areas.
• Inspection of cellar and storage areas.
• Examination of personal hygiene and food handling practices, and identification of staff training requirements.
• Examination of customer service areas for cleanliness and sanitation; eg. toilets and restaurant areas.
• Examination of water supply systems
• Advice on energy saving and compliance with environmental green issues.

Each inspection is followed by an immediate on-site advice debriefing with management. Within a few days a confidential, comprehensive typewritten report will be forwarded, detailing all observations together with cost-effective recommendations for remedial action.

The report also contains a numerical assessment rating on critical parameters of hygiene, safety and quality management, allowing the manager to compare standards with those of other establishments and monitor performance.
