INTRODUCTION
This is a first level qualification in health & safety and is nationally
recognised in all occupational areas (it was previously known as the Basic
Health & Safety Certificate). Although intended for anyone at work it has
proven extremely popular with first line supervisors who need a quick introduction
to the subject.

CERTIFICATE
The Certificate is awarded to candidates who have completed the course and
the final multi-choice assessment satisfactorily (an oral examination is
available by prior arrangement).
Following
the examination the Tutor usually provides immediate feedback to the
students.
